The choir rehearses every Wednesday evening from
7.15pm to
9.15pm at the United Reformed Church, Main Street, Cockermouth. There is a break for refreshments in the evening. To view our specific location, refer to the map below.
Castlegate Singers is a self-financing organisation, with members paying a yearly fee of £45. This covers the cost of room hire,
purchase of music, salaries of conductor and pianist, and insurance.
Members represent all walks of life and all ages. We enjoy a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere, and have fun making great music together. We work hard to improve the quality of our performances, and are committed to musical excellence.
New members are always welcome and can come along and sing with us before deciding whether to join. All new members are invited to take a simple voice test.
